How to apply?

Junia HEI’s engineering degree is delivered after 5 years of study: an integrated preparatory course (3 years) equivalent to undergraduate studies followed by 2 years of Master-level specialized courses and professional experience. Interested candidates may apply to join at any level except the final year (5th year, M2). See the general requirements below for each level of study. Specific programs may have additional requirements, check the program page to be sure. Students interested in studying at Junia HEI for an academic exchange through a university partnership complete a different application process. Please visit our exchange students page to learn more. The admissions period for the 2021-2022 academic year at Junia HEI will open November 16, 2020. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Requirements

Qualifications for admission may vary according to your desired programme of study. Be sure to check the programme page for full details.

Undergraduate (Bachelor-level) – French or English

  • French scientific baccalaureate diploma or equivalent high school diploma, with a science and math focus where applicable. Admission in years 1, 2, or 3 based on academic background.
  • B2 level in French (only language of instruction available at undergraduate level) certified by an official test score (DELF, DALF, French Bac).
  • Minimum B1 level in English certified by an official test score (TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, IELTS or equivalent), except students from countries where English is an official language.

Graduate (Master of Science and Engineering) – French or English

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering Sciences related to the desired programme
  • B2 level in language of instruction (French or English) certified by an official test score (DELF, DALF, French Bac, TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, IELTS or equivalent), except students from countries where the desired language of instruction is an official language.
  • For French-taught programs, a minimum B1 level in English certified by an official test score (TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, IELTS or equivalent), except students from countries where English is an official language.
  • French is NOT required for admission to English-taught programs, but is highly recommended.

Application procedure

  • Complete the online application form

    First, applicants must create an account on our online application platform.

    Then, you must complete the application form and upload all required documents:

    • Copy of national ID or passport
    • Updated CV (max. 2 pages)
    • Motivation letter
    • Certified copies of transcripts of records from all higher education, including current year,
    • Copy of all completed diplomas,
    • Recommendation letter (optional)
    • Official language certificate (french and/or english) – see prerequisites

    Other documents may be requested according to your profile. Please respond to requests for further information promptly as incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Etudes en France

    If your nationality and current country of residence are the same and listed below, you must complete the Campus France Etudes en France procedure at the same time as your Junia admission application:

  • Interview with Academic Director and International Relations Office

    Eligible applicants are invited to participate in a 30-min interview (face-to-face or video conference) with the Academic Advisor desired program. This step is important to assessing your motivation for studying at Junia HEI and, most of all, gives us the chance to get to know you better.
